Underlying this work is a 3,000-mile sailing passage from Panama to Newfoundland — the same route as the leatherback sea turtle migration. This NatGeo Explorer project investigates the relationship between traditional wisdom and sea turtle conservation and is the foundation for No Word for Nature, a grant-supported film by NatGeo and Patagonia.
